Dr. Yuan is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical and Administrative Sciences, School of Pharmacy, American University Health Sciences. Dr. Yuan has extensive pharmacy practice and pharmacy consultation experience in both psychiatric hospitals and retail pharmacies, specializing in adolescent and adult clinical psychiatry and psychopharmacology.
An experienced clinical pharmacy clinician, Dr. Yuan has worked as a pharmacy director and clinical pharmacist in an inpatient psychiatric hospital for over 11 years. Prior to working as a clinical pharmacist in a hospital setting, he had several years of experience in retail pharmacies as a pharmacist and pharmacy manager. Dr. Yuan prescribes pharmacy technician students, Pharm.D. students and pharmacy residents of several pharmacy schools for over 13 years.
Dr. has a lot of experience. Yuan in pharmacy management, acute psychiatric hospital settings and retail settings. Highly skilled in performance management, clinical protocol development, policy and procedure development, best practice implementation, and student/pharmacy development.

Dr. is a registered pharmacist in the state of California and holds an advanced pharmacy license. He is board certified in pharmacotherapy and currently works as a clinical pharmacist at Aurora Charter Oak Hospital in Covina, CA. He is also AAHIVP certified and has worked in HIV medicine in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Dr. He brings more than 10 years of community practice, pharmacy management and drug therapy management experience to the School of Pharmacy. Before he started, Dr. In the pharmacy practice, Han works closely with pharmacies and independent physicians to develop medication administration and regulatory compliance procedures. He managed several pharmacies and trained many pharmacy interns and pharmacists who became pharmacy managers. Actively participated dr. Han to educate seniors about medication, chronic conditions, and Medicare Part D prescription drug benefits. He also administers medication in various leading institutions. Dr. Han is a member of the Korean Association of American-California Pharmacists.

Dr. Hussain holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacy from Texas Tech University Health Science Center, Texas Tech University Health Science Center, and a B.S. in Pharmacy from Kakatiya University, India. Prior to joining, Dr. Hussain served as Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Louisiana and the University of Oklahoma. He has taught both professional and graduate pharmacy courses including, but not limited to, pharmacology, compound pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, physical pharmacology, advanced drug delivery and targeting, drug engineering, medical microbiology, and biotechnology. Mentored multiple M.S. and during his career as a student of Ph.D.
Dr. Hussain’s research interests are primarily in the field of inhalation protein and peptide delivery. He is currently researching methods to non-invasively improve drug absorption in laboratory animals and to understand the mechanisms of macromolecular drug transport in vitro. Dr. Hussain is passionate about student learning and applies new teaching and learning methods in the classroom and laboratory. After joining in 2020, he will actively pursue the field of teaching and learning scholarship.
