University Of Kansas Spring 2023 Calendar – The 50-acre campus in downtown Kanas was a gift from our first graduate, Margaret O’Rielly ’18. And, of course, O’Rielly Hall, the first building built on campus, is named in his honor. Our new home is the Goppert Performing Arts Center, home of our School of Performing Arts. All four of our apartments are a quick walk from any of your classrooms. The Marian Center cafeteria (the “Caf”), the Beak & Bean coffee shop, and the Quad are located in the center of campus. And during Kansas City’s perfect weather, you’ll stay warm and dry as you travel from class to class through the underground lines that connect most of the campus.
Throughout history, many traditions have been developed to strengthen the community spirit of the camp. From academics and arts to athletics, students, faculty and alumni keep these traditions alive.
