Star Wars Advent Calendar 2023 Lego – Earlier in the month we got a look at a pair of new LEGO Advent Calendars and today comes a first look at the Star Wars edition. Along with other holiday countdowns on September 1st, the latest Star Wars Advent Calendar for 2022 features loads of festive LEGO builds, including sweater-clad R2 and C-3PO minifigures, a Santa Gonk droid and even a unique new Darth Vader .
The LEGO Group has unveiled its summer catalog of less exciting Advent calendars that ring in June 1 for the first time. Since then, it seems like only a matter of time before fans get their first glimpse of what it is. A countdown to the more popular Star Wars festival had to be offered, and today it arrived.
Star Wars Advent Calendar 2023 Lego
As always with holiday countdowns, this year’s LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar will include 24 different builds. Young and small manufacturers hiding behind cardboard doors in packaging will be able to publish and assemble a different model every day. There’s everything from minifigures to micro-scale builds of iconic ships, and now we have an idea of what to expect from this year’s version of the set.
Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar Day 4
Celebrating Star Wars, The LEGO Group says the advent calendar will be a fan-favorite aspect of the beach-themed Darth Vader and accompanying sandcastle building. It set the tone for the whole set to build on
Thematic, but now that the box art has been revealed, it will be a 2022 general release for fans.
Released ahead of the official showcase, we see two more exclusive figures. Both R2-D2 and C-3PO get the holiday sweater treatment, in line with what we’ve seen in years past, along with some pretty neat little designs. While not technically a minifigure, there is a Santa Gonk droid that would easily be my favorite release.
Advent Calendar Minifigure Review
When it comes to mini builds, there are very scaled down versions of the recently released LEGO Star Wars sets. The Landspeeder has made another appearance on the Advent calendar in what feels like a million consecutive years since its May 4th UCS debut. There’s also an AT-ST, Tie Interceptor and T-16, as well as a mini Bad Batch Shuttle. Skyhopper. So far, only 11 of the 24 builds in the LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar have actually been revealed from the box art, so there are still some to go for the full release.
One of the big changes this time around with the annual advent calendar is that the prices of holiday Star Wars sets will increase. Like many of the other sets we expect to arrive in the fall, this build will go up from its usual $40 to $44.99. It will be released alongside the rest of the Holiday Countdown set on September 1, following the other Summer 2022 sets, which run up to 329 pieces.
However, we’re still waiting to see what the Marvel side of the LEGO Advent Calendar action has to offer.
Adorable Lego Star Wars And Avengers Advent Calendars Are Out Now
Although the actual content has yet to be confirmed, it could mean that this time it will be set around Guardians of the Galaxy. So stay tuned for all the details on this front.
While we’re still waiting to see what happens more than halfway through the Advent Calendar, I’m excited about what the LEGO Star Wars team has in store for 2022. Between builds, it would be nice to return to a more comprehensive coverage of the Star Wars galaxy with sets and minifigures from various properties. Let’s hope we get some models from Kenobi, Andor and other new properties.
Aside from the actual content, the box art for the 2022 Advent Calendar may reveal another aspect of the upcoming LEGO Star Wars lineup. The $529.99 set (75331) has a lot going for it when it drops later this year. Our latest reports indicate that the UCS razorback is back in April.
Which Year Had The Best Advent Calendar And Why?
But before that, we thought a Master Builder series might be on the table at Endor. This makes this year’s advent calendar scene even more interesting, as you can see various details of the Ewok village in the background. It’s certainly a stretch to say there’s a connection so far, but this could be the first hint of what to expect from 2022’s biggest LEGO Star Wars set.

The Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar 2020
I don’t like advent calendar spoilers, so I won’t share full photos of all the contents because I believe it spoils the surprise, so I’m more than happy to just share pictures of the packaging.
Note that there are only 4 Advent calendars in the catalog. The 2022 Marvel Advent Calendar is not available, which is strange because the 2021 Marvel Advent Calendar was one of last year’s favorites.
I’m guessing there will be a LEGO Marvel calendar for 2022, which will be a Guardians of the Galaxy holiday that will be released on Disney+ later this year.
Lego Introduces New Sets To Celebrate Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

There’s a ton of spoilers in the box, as always, but it looks like it’s going to be a much more fun year with Darth Vader in a holiday singlet, C-3PO and R2-D2 in ugly Christmas sweaters, plus Santa making a gonk droid. for the festivities!
At Star Wars Celebration 2022, we saw Darth Vader’s summer Darth Vader and Darth Vader’s sandcastle, but it’s nice to see other builds.

It looks like there’s a photobook of lots of microbuilds, which I’m particularly excited about – the Hogwarts Express, Whomping Willow, Quidditch objectives are here, as well as the Goblet of Fire.
Take a look at the 2021 LEGO City Advent Calendar, which appears to be full of minifigures and animals.
