Sedgwick County School Crime Stoppers created Speak Out! program that allows students, staff and parents to anonymously submit tips via a secure website, smartphone app or by phone to keep their school safe. All messages are encrypted and routed through secure servers to protect the sender. Users are provided with an alias and a unique ID before sending a message to a Speak Up facilitator for $261. This allows users and facilitators to have a two-way dialogue without revealing the identity of the sender. Funding for the service was provided by Crime Stoppers of Wichita/Sedgwick County.

Campus HS has partnered with Parchment, the leader in electronic transcript exchange, to send high school transcripts electronically, safely and securely to the colleges and universities of your choice. This service is available online 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Students and alumni simply request transcripts and indicate the academic institution, institution or individual they wish to receive. Users will be notified when their request is complete and can also track the status of their request or view a saved copy of their transcript.
Graduate students will pay $6.00 per transcript or more depending on how the student wants to receive the transcript.

With the Capture Kids’ Hearts National Schools Award, Flippen recognizes and honors schools that go above and beyond every day to create environments where students and staff feel safe and connected. Capture Kids’ Hearts facilities across the country are considered for these awards based on the following criteria: 1) nomination based on observations by Flippen Group staff, 2) level of policy implementation. Performance of all staff at Capture Kids’ Hearts as determined by online surveys and 3) data showing that Capture Kids’ Hearts has significantly improved attendance, discipline and environment. /cultural or academic.
The Flippen Group team visited each of the nominated schools to collect more quantitative and qualitative data and interviewed students, teachers, administrators and parents. They used a core measurement matrix to collect information during a campus walk. Finally, a follow-up survey was conducted to collect feedback on the perceived campus climate and culture, as well as learning facilitation. After this visit, the selection team reviewed all the accumulated data and selected the schools to receive the award for outstanding schools that capture the hearts of children.
