Dr. Yuan currently serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Clinical and Administrative Division of the College of Pharmacy at American University of Health Sciences. Dr. Yuan comes with extensive pharmacy practice and pharmacy consulting experience in both psychiatric hospitals and retail pharmacy, specializing in clinical psychiatry and adolescent and adult psychopharmacology.
As an experienced clinical pharmacist, Dr. Yuan has been working as a pharmacy director and clinical pharmacist in an inpatient psychiatric hospital for over 11 years. Before working as a clinical pharmacist in a hospital, she also had several years of experience working in retail pharmacies as a pharmacist and pharmacy manager. Dr. Yuan Pharmacy Technician Students, Pharm.D. Pharmacy students and residents of multiple pharmacy schools for over 13 years.
Dr. Yuan has extensive experience managing pharmacies in both psychiatric intensive care hospital settings and retail settings. He is highly proficient in performance management, clinical protocol development, policy and procedure development, best practice implementation and pharmacy student/resident development.

Bio- Dr. Fazalbhoy completed a PharmD from Western University of Health Sciences and a Master of Science from the Medical College of Virginia. He is a registered pharmacist in the state of California and is also licensed as an advanced practice pharmacist. He is board certified in pharmacotherapy and currently works as a clinical pharmacist at Aurora Charter Oak Hospital in Covina, CA. He is also AAHIVP certified and has worked in the field of HIV medicine in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Dr. Hahn brings more than 10 years of experience in community practice, pharmacy management and drug therapy administration to the School of Pharmacy. Before joining, Dr. Hahn was in a pharmacy practice and worked closely with independent pharmacies and physicians to develop processes for medication management and regulatory compliance. He has managed several pharmacies and taught numerous pharmacy interns and pharmacists who have successfully become pharmacy managers. Dr. Hahn is active in educating seniors about medication adherence, chronic disease conditions and Medicare Part D prescription drug benefits. It also provides medication management at various senior facilities. Dr. Hahn currently serves as a member of the California Korean American Pharmacists Association.

Dr. Hussain’s Ph.D. in Pharmacy from the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Amarillo, TX and his B.S. in Pharmacy from Kakatiya University in India. Before joining, Dr. Hussain worked as an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Universities of Louisiana and Oklahoma. He has taught a number of courses including pharmacy, compounding pharmacy, pharmacokinetics, physical pharmacy, advanced drug administration and targeting, pharmaceutical technology, medical microbiology and biotechnology to both pharmacy professionals and graduate students. He has also been the mentor of several M.S. and PhD students throughout his career.
Dr. Hussain’s research interests are mainly in the area of protein and peptide drug delivery by inhalation. He is currently investigating ways to improve drug uptake through non-invasive routes in laboratory animals and to understand macromolecular drug transport mechanisms in vitro. Dr. Hussain is also passionate about student learning and implements innovative teaching and learning methods in the classroom and laboratory. He has been actively exploring the field of teaching and learning scholarship since joining in 2020.
