Dr. Yuan currently works as an adjunct assistant professor in the clinical and administrative department at American University Health Sciences School of Pharmacy. Dr. Ewan has extensive pharmacy practice and consulting pharmacist experience in both psychiatric hospital and retail pharmacy settings, specializing in adolescent and adult clinical psychiatry and psychopharmacology.
As an experienced clinical pharmacist, Dr. Yuan has more than 11 years as a director of pharmacy and clinical pharmacist in an inpatient psychiatric hospital. Prior to working as a clinical pharmacist in a hospital setting, he also had many years of experience in retail pharmacies as a pharmacist and pharmacy manager. Dr. Yuan has taught pharmacy technician students, Pharm.D. students and pharmacy staff from various pharmacy schools for more than 13 years.
Dr. Ewan has extensive experience in pharmacy management in both acute care psychiatric hospital and retail settings. He is highly skilled in performance management, clinical protocol development, policy and procedure development, implementation of best practices, and student/pharmacy resident developments.

Bio-Dr. Fazelbhoy received his PharmD from Western University of the Health Sciences and his MS from the Medical College of Virginia. He is a registered pharmacist in the state of California and is also licensed as an Advanced Practice Pharmacist. He is board certified in pharmacy and currently works as a Clinical Pharmacist at Aurora Charter Oak Hospital in Covina, California. He is also AAHIVP certified and has worked in HIV medicine in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Dr. Hahn brings more than 10 years of community practice, pharmacy management and medication therapy management experience to the School of Pharmacy. Before joining Dr. Hahn has experience in pharmacy practice and has worked closely with independent pharmacies and physicians in the development of medication management and regulatory compliance procedures. He has managed several pharmacies and has taught many pharmacy interns and pharmacists who have become successful pharmacy managers. Dr. Hahn has been actively involved in educating seniors about medication adherence, chronic disease conditions, and Medicare Part D prescription drugs. He also provides medication management at several senior facilities. Dr. Han currently serves as a member of the Korean American Pharmacists Association of California.

Dr. Hussain received his Ph.D. in Pharmacy from the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at The University of Texas Health Science Center in Amarillo, Texas, and his B.S. in Pharmacy from Kakatiya University, India. Before joining Dr. Hussain has served as an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Louisiana and the University of Oklahoma. He has taught both professional pharmacists and graduate students a variety of courses including pharmacology, compound pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, physical pharmacology, advanced drug delivery and targeting, pharmaceutical technology, medical microbiology and biotechnology. He also holds several M.S. and Ph.D. students throughout his career.
Dr. Hussain’s research interest is mainly in the area of protein and peptide drug inhalation. He is currently investigating ways to improve drug absorption through non-invasive routes in laboratory animals and mechanisms of macromolecular drug transport in vitro. Dr. Hussain is also passionate about student learning and implementing new teaching and learning methods in the classroom and lab. He has been actively pursuing the field of teaching and learning science since joining in 2020.
