Kansas State Calendar Spring 2023 – The recruitment process for IFC fraternities is an informal year-round process. Chapters are actively recruiting for Spring 2023 and Fall 2023 virtually and in person during this time. Submit your profile below today to submit your information for all chapters! Fraternities use an informal mutual selection process to recruit members for their chapter. This process takes place 365 days a year and allows students to truly define the fraternity that best suits them. Chapters can host recruiting events such as barbecues, sporting events, and dinners in Manhattan or somewhere near their hometown. Chapters will appoint two or three recruitment advisors who will lead the process for each organization; these are the people to contact. Ask to go see their facility and meet other guys in the house to see if this chapter is right for you. You can fill out the profile below to submit your information for all 21 chapters, or you can contact individual fraternities if you are only interested in a few.
If you are interested in specific chapters, please consider reaching out to recruiting leaders via email or text message. From there, we’ll ask you to visit with chapter members, attend a spring recruiting event, or have dinner with the men if or when they visit your hometown. All IFC recruitment must be alcohol-free. If you have any questions about your recruiting experience or what your next step should be, please contact Bryston Warren, Director of Recruitment at IFC.

If you recently received an offer from one of IFC’s 21 fraternities, congratulations! Throughout this spring and summer, recruiting officers will be extending invitations to join your fraternity. This invitation is called an offer and can be made verbally or through written communication (e-mail, letter, etc.). The chapter will issue an offer card with your name on it, securing a spot in your chapter for the fall semester. That’s what ties you to their chapter and it’s the official document. Chapters with facilities may also provide you with a housing contract to fill out. The Board approved Option 3 of the proposed timelines, which was selected by over 60% of all respondents to the District timeline survey and supported by all stakeholders.
