Dr. Yuan currently serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Clinical and Administrative Departments of the School of Pharmacy at American University of Medical Sciences. Dr. Yuan has extensive pharmaceutical practice and pharmacy consulting experience in both psychiatric hospitals and retail pharmacies, specializing in clinical psychiatry and adolescent and adult psychopharmacology.
As an experienced clinical pharmacist, Dr. Yuan has been working as a pharmacy director and clinical pharmacist in an inpatient psychiatric hospital for over 11 years. She also has many years of experience as a pharmacist and pharmacy manager in a retail pharmacy before working as a clinical pharmacist in a hospital. Dr. Yuan teaches a Pharm.D pharmaceutical technician student. Student and resident pharmacist at several pharmacy schools for over 13 years.
Dr. Yuan has extensive pharmacy management experience in both acute care psychiatric hospitals and retail chains. She is highly skilled in performance management, clinical protocol development, policy and procedure development, implementation of best practices, and student/pharmacy residency development.

Bio-Dr. Fazelbhoy holds a PharmD from Western University of Health Sciences and an MS from Virginia Medical Sciences. He is a registered pharmacist in the state of California and is also licensed as an advanced practice pharmacist. He is board certified in pharmacotherapy and currently works as a clinical pharmacist at Aurora Charter Oak Hospital in Covina, California. He is also AAHIVP certified and has worked in HIV medicine in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Dr. Khan brings more than 10 years of community practice, pharmacy management and drug therapy experience to the School of Pharmacy. Prior to joining the company, Dr. Khan worked in a pharmaceutical practice, working closely with independent pharmacies and physicians to develop medication management and regulatory compliance procedures. She managed several pharmacies and taught many trainee pharmacists and pharmacists who became successful pharmacy managers. Dr. Hahn has been active in educating seniors about medication adherence, chronic conditions, and the benefits of Medicare Part D prescription drugs. She also provides medication management at various geriatric facilities. Dr. Han is currently a member of the Korean American Pharmacists Association of California.

Dr. Hussain holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacy from the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at the Texas Tech Health Science Center in Amarillo, Texas, and a B.S. Doctor of Pharmacy, Kakatiya University, India. Prior to joining the university, Dr. Hussain was an assistant professor of pharmacy at the University of Louisiana and the University of Oklahoma. He has taught a variety of courses including, but not limited to, pharmacy, integrated pharmacy, pharmacokinetics, physical pharmacology, advanced drug delivery and targeting, pharmaceutical technology, medical microbiology, and biotechnology to professional graduate students in pharmacy. He also has several master’s theses. and dr. students throughout their careers.
Dr. Hussain’s research interests mainly focus on the delivery of drugs through inhalation of proteins and peptides. He is currently investigating ways to improve drug absorption by non-invasive routes in laboratory animals and understanding the macromolecular mechanisms of drug delivery in vitro. Dr. Hussain is also passionate about student learning and implementing new teaching and learning methods in the classroom and laboratory. Since joining the company in 2020, the Teaching and Learning Scholarship Project has been actively promoted.
