Dr. Yuan currently serves as an adjunct professor in the division of clinical and administrative sciences in the College of Pharmacy at the American University of Health Sciences. Dr. Yuan brings extensive pharmacy experience and pharmaceutical consulting experience to psychiatric hospitals and retail pharmacies, specializing in psychiatry and adolescent and adult psychiatry.
Experienced pharmacist, Dr. Yuan has been working as a pharmacy director and clinical pharmacist in a psychiatric hospital for over 11 years. Prior to working as a clinical pharmacist in a hospital setting, she also had many years of experience working in retail pharmacies as a pharmacist and pharmacy manager. Dr. Yuan has been managing pharmacy students, Pharm.D. pharmacy students and residents at various pharmacy schools for over 13 years.
Dr. Yuan has extensive experience in pharmacy management, both in the acute psychiatric hospital and retail settings. She is highly skilled in practice management, clinical protocol development, policy and procedure development, best practice implementation, and student/pharmacology development.

Bio – Dr. Fazelbhoy completed his Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Western University of Health Sciences and a Master of Science degree from the Medical College of Virginia. He is a registered pharmacist in the state of California and is licensed as a professional pharmacist. He is board certified in pharmacology and currently works as a clinical pharmacist at Aurora Charter Oak Hospital in Covina, CA. He is also AAHIVP certified and has worked in the field of HIV medicine in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Dr. Han brings over 10 years of community practice, pharmacy administration and medication management experience to the School of Pharmacy. Before joining, Dr. Han has been in pharmacy practice working closely with pharmacies and independent physicians to improve medication management practices and regulatory compliance. He has managed many pharmacies and taught many trainee pharmacists and pharmacists who have successfully become pharmacy managers. Dr. Han has been actively involved in educating seniors about medication adherence, chronic disease, and Medicare Part D prescription drug benefits. It also offers treatment management in several advanced centers. Dr. Currently, Han is a member of the Korean American Pharmacists Association of California.

Dr. Hussain received his Ph.D. in Pharmacy from the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Amarillo, TX, and a B.S. in Pharmacy from Kakatiya University in India. Before joining, Dr. Hussain has been an assistant professor of pharmaceutical sciences at the University of Louisiana and University of Oklahoma. He has taught pharmacy professionals and postgraduate students in a variety of courses including but not limited to Pharmacy, Integrative Pharmacy, Pharmacy, Physical Pharmacy, Advanced and Targeted Drug Delivery, Pharmaceutical Technology, Medical Microbiology and Biotechnology. He has also advised several M.S. and Ph.D. students during their career.
The research interests of Dr. Hussain focuses primarily on the field of respiratory protein and peptide drug delivery. He is currently investigating ways to improve drug absorption through non-invasive routes in laboratory animals and understanding macromolecular drug transport mechanisms in vitro. Dr. Hussain is also passionate about student learning and implements innovative teaching and learning methods in the classroom and laboratory. He is actively engaged in the field of scholarship in teaching and learning after joining in 2020.
