Motogp Calendar 2023 Update – MotoGP organizers have released a provisional calendar for 2022 with 21 GPs, two of which are at new locations: Mandalika, Indonesia and KymiRing, Finland.
A new addition to the calendar is the new Mandalika circuit, which is currently in the final stages of construction and will host, later this year, the WorldSBK Superbike Championship circuit.
Motogp Calendar 2023 Update
The 2022 season begins in Qatar in early March (6-8). Now, from March 18 to 20, the team is taking to the new Mandalika International Street Circuit for the first time. After the bank holiday weekend, April sees the Argentina v America (USA) race, with a trip to Portimao (Portugal) on April 22-24, the first European race of the season.
Motogp 2023 Calendar: Aragon Out, India And Kazakhstan In
A short trip to Jerez for the Spanish GP follows the Portuguese GP from 29th April to 1st May, with the French, Italian, Catalan, German and Dutch GPs taking place in May and June. From 8th to 10th July, before the three-week summer break, the MotoGP paddock heads to the KymiRing for the first Finnish GP since 1982.
The British GP at Silverstone gets us back into the swing of things for the second half of the season on August 5-8, with the Austrian GP and Red Bull Ring on 14 August 19-21. The San Marino GP at the Misano Marco Simoncelli World Circuit takes place from September 2 to 4, ahead of the three-round event.
Drivers and teams will race at Motorland Aragon between 16th and 18th September, before the paddock heads straight to Twin Ring Motegi for the Japanese GP on 23rd to 25th. A week later, the return to Thailand is scheduled for September 30 to October 2.
The Argentine Grand Prix Remains On The 2023 Motogp Calendar
The MotoGP circus now travels to Australia and old Phillip Island on October 14-16, with the Malaysian GP arriving a week later on October 21-23 – the first round of the campaign. The final stage of the season will be the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, and 2022 closes from November 4 to 6.
MotoGP returns on October 24th with the Gran Premio Nolan del Made in Italy in dell’Emilia-Romagna Misano, Italy.

The wait is over and now the provisional calendar for 2023 can be announced, with more races and more countries than ever before. The competition kicks off in Portugal at the spectacular Autodromo Internacional do Algarve in March, before the Championship heads to Termas de Rio Hondo and Austin, Texas, for the US GP, kicking off the season in style. From there, it’s back to Jerez when the European leg gets underway, with the upcoming classics thick and fast: Le Mans will host the 1000th Grand Prix before the paddock returns to Mugello, Sachsenring and Assen.
Kazakhstan is due to start in July before a second mid-season break, the Central Asian country will become the 30th country to host a motorcycle Grand Prix since 1949 – with the Sokol International Circuit the 74th race venue since the first class. .

From there, the paddock heads back west for the British and Austrian GPs, before a new day of the Catalan GP at the Barcelona-Catalunya Circuit as the event continues in September. Now the paddock says goodbye to Europe at Misano in front of another airport, starting with another new country for 2023: India.
The opening of the Budh International Circuit will make it the 75th venue for the premier class race and India becomes the 31st country to host a motorcycle Grand Prix. From there, the paddock heads east to Japan with old Motegi before the weekend is free to prepare for the triathlon.
