The SEC released the 2023 football schedules for all 14 league teams Tuesday night on the SEC Network.

League opponents coming to Tiger Stadium in 2023 include Arkansas on Sept. 23, Auburn on Oct. 14, Florida on Nov. 11 and Texas A&M on Nov. 25. September’s meeting with the Razorbacks will mark the teams’ earliest meeting in the history of the 67-game series.
Gymnastics Announces 2022 Schedule
In addition to their four SEC home games, LSU will play Grambling for the first time in football when the Tigers come to Tiger Stadium on September 9th. LSU will also host Army and Georgia State at Tiger Stadium next year to round out the home slate.
The Tigers host Army on Oct. 21 and Georgia State on Nov. 18. LSU will face Army for the second time and the first time since 1931. LSU and Georgia State have never met in football.
On the road, the Tigers open conference play at Mississippi State on Sept. 16, with other league games coming at Ole Miss on Sept. 30, at Missouri on Oct. 7 and at Alabama on Nov. 4. LSU and Ole Miss have faced each other in the month of September only four times in the history of the rivalry that began in 1894.

LSU closes the regular season with three consecutive home contests, the first for the Tigers since 2001 when Middle Tennessee, Arkansas and Auburn came to Tiger Stadium in the final three weeks of the season. BATON ROUGE – broke the record for the most successful, largest and most diverse freshman class in university history. This year’s 7,038 enrolled freshmen surpassed last year’s record of 6,690 freshmen. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, total enrollment is also the highest in history at 35,914.

The total enrollment of 35,914 students consists of 28,764 undergraduate and 4,755 graduate and professional students, with 2,395 online students – 622 undergraduate and 1,733 graduate and professional.

With the growth of the freshman class, the quality of student enrollment has not wavered. The freshman GPA is at an all-time high of 3.54 and the ACT is at 26.

With a record 7,038 full-time freshmen enrolled, class diversity is also at an all-time high. The freshman class is 18.8 percent black, up from 16.8 percent black in the Class of 2020. The number of Hispanic students in the freshman class is also a record 9.5 percent for the Class of 2021, surpassing the 9.1 percent in the class of 2020 .Students who identify as American Indian, Black, Asian, Hawaiian, Hispanic, and two or more races make up more than 30 percent of this year’s total freshmen. Additionally, 30.3 percent of freshmen are Pell eligible.

BATON ROUGE, La. – LSU Swimming and Diving will participate in 10 regular season meets consisting of four meets held at the Natatorium, the program and athletics department announced Wednesday.
“I’m excited about our schedule,” LSU head diving coach Doug Shaffer said. “We have set some lofty but achievable goals individually and as a team. Every single tournament will be an important part of our preparations leading up to our conference and state championships.”

Additionally, we have a balanced schedule that will allow us to compete with other top programs outside of the SEC. The Tigers will begin their fall portion of the schedule at 10:00 AM CT on September 25th at the annual Purple and Gold Intersquad Meet before beginning their non-conference schedule at home against Grand Canyon on Saturday, the 9th October at 10:00:00 AM CT.
After a short stint at home, LSU will head west to compete in a multi-team meet against the Air Force Academy, Denver and Wyoming. The conference is scheduled to take place in Colorado Springs, CO on October 22nd and 23rd. Friday’s portion of the competition is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. CT, while Saturday’s portion begins at 11 a.m. CT.
The Tigers will return to SEC country and travel to Tuscaloosa to take on the Alabama Crimson Tide at a time to be determined. LSU will then head to the Lone Star State to participate in the Art Adamson Invitational and Texas Diving Invitational. Art Adamson will consist of swimming events only and is scheduled to begin at the Texas A&M Natatorium Student Recreation Center on Wednesday, November 17th and end on November 19th. The Texas Diving Invitational is scheduled to begin one day later on Nov. 18 and will run through Saturday, Nov. 20 at the Jamali Swimming Center
Academic Calendars 2021/2022
LSU returns home to the friendly confines of the Natatorium after competing on the road for over a month. The LSU women’s swim team will take on the Tulane Green Wave on December 4 at 10:00 a.m. CT.
During winter break for students, LSU divers will compete in two different invitational events. The first will be held in Auburn from December 15-18. They will have two weeks off before traveling to compete in Knoxville at the Tennessee Diving Invitational Jan. 3-6.
Before the 2022 spring semester begins, the Tigers will face Florida State on January 15 at 10:00 a.m.
Qb Jayden Daniels Announces Return To Lsu
To wrap up the regular season, LSU will honor its senior athletes before taking on Texas A&M. The time of the meeting has not been announced.
Postseason play for the Tigers begins at the SEC Swimming and Diving Championships held in Knoxville, TN. Events start on February 15th and end on February 19th. This year’s SEC Championship will be held simultaneously, unlike last season which was split due to considerations due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Divers begin March at the NCAA Zone Regionals held March 6-9 in Madison, Wisconsin. Both the women’s and men’s swimming and diving championships will be held in Atlanta, Georgia, on the campus of Georgia Tech. The women will compete from March 16 to 19, while the men will compete in the pool from March 23 to 26. LSU is looking to improve on the No. That’s up 18 rankings from last year, which is the Tigers’ highest ranking since 2003.
